In 1960, Lloyd Gould purchased the branch of Vinci’s Paint in Woodstock. Lloyd had started his career in paint with Mr. Jim Vinci on a part-time basis in 1950. He increased his involvement in Vinci’s operations by becoming manager of the Woodstock location. The business continued to grow.
Lloyd’s wife Dorothy envisioned a more complete decorative experience so she added her touch by expanding with decorative window treatments.
Dan saw a vibrant growing business and joined full time in 1967.
Alan saw the same opportunity and joined the crew in 1973.
In 1975 the Gould family purchased Vinci Paint Store in Crystal Lake.
